Brian Dougherty

Brian Dougherty is Partner and CEO of Corcoran Property Advisors based out of the Boston office on Newbury Street. Responsible for more than $550 Million of sales, he has been profiled in Boston Magazine for the past 5 years as one of the top producing agents in the region and is often featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, Forbes, and other distinguished publications. In 2018, 2021, 2022, and again in 2024, Brian handled some of the largest residential transactions in all of Massachusetts.
 
Prior to his affiliation with Corcoran, Brian was a Managing Director at Compass. There, alongside his partner Nick, he led The Private Brokerage team which existed to provide accomplished individuals, families, and their advisors with access to the most personalized, sophisticated, and confidential real estate support available.
 
Brian was Managing Partner at Robert Paul Properties from 2014 until early 2019 when he sold his interest in the business. He previously served in a number of senior management and business development roles throughout the United States. From 2005 to 2007, Brian was a real estate sales advisor with DPS Development Company, advising individuals and families on the purchase of luxury real estate developments in the Turks & Caicos and in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
 
Brian serves on the Advisory Board for the Top Network (TAN) which is a membership of the top 10% producing agents in the state. He previously served as a member of the finance committee for former Governor Charlie Baker. Brian and his partner Nick live in Cohasset with their son Henry after having lived in Boston’s Back Bay and South End neighborhoods for many years. Passionate about design and preservation, Brian and Nick have renovated and redeveloped several significant properties throughout the years including a boutique inn on Cape Cod.
